I don’t shoot competitions. I do shoot prone and from a bench at the range, and from a standing table on my property. I have some rifles without a bipod mount, and wanted something lightweight and durable. Cuddle bag offers more options, than some sand filled rests that are one height. Cuddle bag has 3 different heights to use, and compresses just enough to fine tune. It’s well made, stitching and straps won’t fall apart. It’s kinda slick, and slides around on smooth surfaces, but that’s how it’s meant to perform. Have not used it under my arm or in other shooting positions, but I see how it would help.

If you are concerned about weight and durability this is definitely the product line for you. You could throw it at a toddler and they won’t get knocked over but at the same time your dog will have a hard time ruining it. The strap is nice for throwing it over your shoulder. A quality product! The use of heavy-duty stitching and durable fabric make this a lifetime product. One product enhancement feature I would like to see is a zipper or velcro. That way I can remove and wash the outer fabric.

Haven’t used it in a match yet. But I have used it to practice with in the back yard on barricades (pipes/rope; cutouts & sills; rooftop both incline and decline) with a DFAT. I don’t have anything to compare it with because I’ve never used a large bag. But I can say it has improved my positional stability (what I see through the DFAT now versus previously). Solid and good construction.

Got mine in the mail today, great bag can’t wait to take it to the range. Light weight, but FIRM. The shoulder strap is nice, the two flat “webbing” straps on the side is elastic…I think it might be helpful to add that to the description. I was wondering what kind of straps they were before I ordered, and very pleased to find out they are stretchy when it arrived. I’m a tall (6′ 3″) skinny guy, so with this bag having a 1″ larger footprint in each direction over the closest competition, it’s AWESOME!

This is my second of these bags since I started shooting PRS a few years ago, only reason I bought a second is I wanted a different color. The size is perfect for me as a taller guy fill the void left during high kneeling where bone on bone support isn’t possible. Also works well to lay your rifle on as a front bag in the prone if you have to transition from any other position to prone, where a bipod may be impractical to keep deploying. Three different nights if you lay it flat, on its side or end. Making this a great option for multiple positions/applications.recommended.

I just LOVE this bag and my second purchase. Its light weight and the design to attach it to the Backbone Frame is excellent. I also purchased the Backbone Frame for Picatinny rail and the Frame has an easy detach lever, not the knob as shown on the picture. Easy to attach and take off during stages. Also great to use in addition to the Flat Bag. (I think the picture on the website needs to be updated so you know that it is not a knob).

Great size and durable construction. Love the feel of this bag compared to the other name brand “pillow” style bags. Strap comes in handy for quickly deploying where needed and slinging away when not.
